Smarter soups to help reduce risk of diabetes

The Smarter Food Company, a PBL and Quadram Institute spin-out company, announces it has raised £1 million to accelerate the development of food products with health benefits.  Its first product will be a vegetable-based soup containing glucoraphanin, a naturally occurring compound found in broccoli.  This investment highlights the potential for providing delicious food products containing natural bioactive ingredients for health conscious consumers.
